I recently created a logo for a gorgeous cabin overlooking the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN. The couple that purchased this home wanted a vibrant and modern sign to greet their guests. They didn’t want the traditional carved and lacquered address sign that would typically hang outside a rustic cabin.

This cabin not only functions as a vacation home for the owners, but also as a short-term rental property. The owners wanted to utilize this logo in their promotional video as well as the house instructional documents. The decor of their home features modern, clean, bright accents so the color palette of Lofty Dreams’ logo comes from both the home’s aesthetic as well as the vibrant colors of the mountain scenery.

From there, we worked together to create all of their house documentation: Check-in and Check-out procedures, Floor Plans of the property, and a Welcome Folder. It was important to my clients that their house guests felt invited, informed, and all around satisfied with their stay.

Designing the Lofty Dreams logo was a wonderful opportunity to blend place, personality, and purpose. The goal wasn’t just to create a pretty sign — it was to design a visual anchor that feels at home with the property’s modern aesthetic while also celebrating the vibrant beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Whether it lives on the welcome sign, in promotional videos, or within guest documents, this logo now helps set the tone for every experience a visitor has at this special cabin.
